A diet with a higher lysine in stead of arginine (an α – amino acid) is a perfect herpes treatment. Arginine is a conditionally nonessential amino acid. Most of the time it can be manufactured by the human body, and does not need to be obtained directly through the diet. When the oral herpes appears, try to avoid food like cottage cheese, pork, bacon, ham, salmon, snails, tuna, lobster, or coconut, pecans, cashews, walnut, almonds, hazelnut, pinenuts, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds. Including more lysine (also an α – amino acid, but an essential one, that participates in hydrogen bonding and as a general base in calalysis)  in your diet is a great way to ward off herpes recurrences!

Here is a herpes treatment that we recommend, a natural remedy easy to make. In the case of herpes, the treatment is  need to start earlier, from the first signs of disease appear. With a swab of cotton applied on the affected area the following mixture of oils:
- 4 drops of oil bergamot, eucalyptus and geranium, one spoon of olive oil or marigold lotion.

Don’t let this mixture on the sunlight or light and apply the oil in the affected area 2-3 times daily. It is recommended not to enter in contact with the sunlight for 30 minutes after application, because this mixture can increase sensitivity to sunlight. But you will see beneficial results after the first aplication.
