<strong>• Get equipped: </strong></p>
<p>Along with your brief case, laptop and/or handbag you need to have a cooler bag for<br />
meals &amp; snacks.<br />
Always have a filled water bottle with you.<br />
TIP: Freeze your cooler bag overnight for hot summer days.<br />
<strong>• Bulk Up:</strong><br />
Save time and money by buying and preparing food in bulk. Too much precious time<br />
is wasted by always running to the local shopping center to buy items. Having a well<br />
stocked pantry makes so much easier to grab and run! Arrange someone to do your<br />
shopping if necessary!<br />
TIP: Prepare bulk salads using barley, rice, pasta, chickpeas, beans.<br />
These keep easily for up to three days in the fridge.<br />
When you do prepare food, like over weekends, make extra and freeze it for use<br />
during your busy week.<br />
Buy nuts/seeds &amp; dried fruit in bulk and spend time while in front of the TV packing<br />
handfuls into small packets (e.g. small bank bags).<br />
<strong>• Emergency packs:</strong><br />
At the start of each week, take a container to work with ‘basics’ (tomato, cucumber,<br />
green pepper, tub of low fat cheese, cheese wedges, tinned tuna, provitas/ryvitas, cup<br />
of soups, breakfast bars, fruit, yogurts) this becomes your emergency lunch for days<br />
when you forget or simply do not have time to make lunch!</p>
<p><strong>• Keep ‘drawer’ food:</strong><br />
Keep non-perishable food items at work ‘drawer food’ or in your car, your<br />
cubbyhole, your suitcase, and your gym bag. (e.g. dried fruit, biltong, health bars,<br />
nuts, seeds, etc…)</p>

<p>&#8220;Eat healthy food!&#8221;. This is a good advice that I received a long time ago and now I see the results. Not only I lost weight (not too much, but exactly the weight that makes me feel better), but also I feel fool of energy and optimistic.</p>
<p>So, I say it again, for everybody who wants to listen: Eat healthy food!&#8221;</p>

- 50-55% carbohydrates<br />
- 15-20% protein<br />
- Unsaturated fats<br />
- Fiber<br />
- Vitamins<br />
- Mineral<br />
- Lots and  lots of water</div>
<div style="text-align: left;" dir="ltr">Vegetables, fruits and  cereals must be over 60% of your daily menu.</div>
<div id="result_box" style="text-align: left;" dir="ltr">Recommended unsaturated fat  comes from nuts, seeds, cold pressed oils, fish or avocado.</div>

<p>Uses as many fresh foods as you can eat, without additives and preservatives, as  natural as possible.</p>

<p><strong>Our resource of antioxidants </strong><br />
Remember always that fruits and vegetables  are rich sources of antioxidants, which fight against free radicals and slowed  the aging process. Antioxidants have role in reducing the risk of cardiovascular  disease, diabetes and cancer. They act on free radicals neutralizandu her and  take care of blood vessels, helping circulation and thus to protect our heart.  Antioxidants (especially vitamin E) are the ones who help us have a beautiful  skin and appear healthy, they are the ones that offer skin elasticity, which  means fewer wrinkles. Vitamin E, the most famous antioxidant, is the ally  against bad cholesterol and thus are safe from complications from the heart,  especially of heart attack.</p>
<p><strong>Free radicals and cancer </strong><br />
Various  researches have shown that free radicals have published about breast cancer,  stomach, colon, prostate, pancreas, etc.. Radicals leading to cell growth and  development of cancer. And antioxidants may act on the cancer cells before they  spread. However, consumption of fruits and vegetables does not appear  definitively such diseases nor bring healing. But antioxidants are those that  support the body and we strengthen the protective shield.</p>
<p><strong>Men should eat  more red (fruits and vegetables)</strong><br />
A recent study conducted at Harvard University showed that men who  consume more red (the antioxidants) or products that are based on tomatoes, has  a risk factor lower by 35% with respect to the occurrence of prostate cancer  than men who consume very little or no red.</div>
